Q) Can I, as the primary proctor, recruit assistance from another staff member to help me with all the duties required of me? 

A) Yes you can, however the responisibity of filing paperwork and properly returning the tests to NAHP will be yours solely.

Q) Can we conduct review sessions for our students?

A) Absolutely and it is recommended that you do so. However, please follow a couple of common rules:

  • Be sure to use the correct review manual available from NAHP here.
  • Never commit copyright infringement by making illegal copies of the review manual. Review manuals are available for a reasonable cost to the students.

Q) If on test day I do not have enough tests for all of the students, can I make copies to test the additional attendees?

A) NO, Copies of the exam cannot be made for any reason. Exams should remain sealed until they are administered to the student who's name matches the name on the test packet. Copies of any material will not be accepted.

Q) What happens if a student (students) does not show up for their scheduled exam? 

A) Every student that filled out the application will be notified by NAHP. The student will be required to pay a $10 fee to reschedule the exam.

Q) Will I still recieve the proctor fee if less then 5 students show up to take the exam?

A) No, there is a minimum of 5 required to recieve the proctor fee.

Q) Can I still proctor the exam if I have less then 5 people?

A) Yes you can still give the examination, but you will not recieve the proctor fee.

Q) Can I accept people from outside my school to take the exam?

A) Yes you can test any idividual that is on our roster.

Q) Can our school give more then one test a month?

A) No, unless you have day and evening classes with 15-20 students testing. Proctor fee's will only be paid twice if there is a significant number of students testing each time.

Q) If a student brings cash to pay for their application can I accept it?

A) No, students are required to pay for the application and fee's using Money Order, Check or Credit Card. Never accept a cash payment from a student.
